Preston Verling is a Software Engineer ASC at Lockheed Martin as of July 2023. After growing up in both Florida and New Jersey, Preston traveled to Blacksburg, Virginia to study computer science at Virginia Tech. It is at VT he would meet his now Wife, Devin, the Founder of WWDR. Devin and Preston actually met through her service dog being accidentally let out and finding his way to Preston’s dorm. Their meeting was straight out of a classic rom-com movie! After only 1 year together, Preston quickly realized what he had gotten himself into when on their anniversary, Devin spotted a stray puppy on the side of the road…. Gizmo is now 2.5 years old and is a permanent resident of WWDR. In July of 2022, Preston and Devin also added Grim (photographed above) to their pack. Throughout their relationship Preston has learned that Devin really is a Disney princess as she has tamed and taken home just about every creature she encounters including; opossums, ducks, cats, dogs, and who knows what else is to come. Preston’s favorite breeds include Bulldogs, Mastiffs, and Rotties.
